Description
Cemetary in a churchyard gravesite - Eternal Faith - A patch of Daffodils in churchyard cemetery by a gravesite.
In an old orthodox churchyard cemetery or graveyard, I came across these Daffodil flowers blooming against the mausoleum of a much-revered Holy man.
I found the scene to be so touching and poignant. The light and the fresh mist of a light Spring rain created a mystical atmosphere.
The flowers growing by a gravesite provided the insight of faith and perseverance.
The old Autumn leaves now all brown and decaying, going back into the earth and providing nourishment for the flowers. Like the Spring blossoms new life always returns.
Death may stop the earthly body, but the spirit continues to grow and flow through us all.
Hence the name Eternal Faith, the spirit is forever faithful.
Mystical, magical, tad bit maudlin, and a wee bit spooky too. But Timeless in its reassurance.
