Ava is one happy little cow - now that she was rescued.
The story of Ava: Ava was rescued by a caring young lady named Jessy Hathaway.
This painting was inspired by Jessy's image and her compassion with saving one sick little baby cow that was pretty much left to die without her mother's care.
It is common to remove a calf from its mother in order to take the mother's milk to sell.
This baby was removed too young, and without proper care or treatment she became very ill. Poor little Ava could barely stand and walk on her weak legs. Jessy rescued this baby and spent endless hours and plenty of Veterinarian care to nurse her back to health.
You can read Ava's story on Jessy's FB " Farmhouse and Rustic décor " page.
We can't bring them all home - but you can remember to help provide an animal rescue agency with some warm blankets and a few bags of food .
Each one life that is saved matters to them .
